Resuming as a result of a friend's walkabout downunder

Here I resume blogging after briefly giving it a go over two-years ago.

Much has happened since then: quit job at BigSemiCo, started at TinyLifeSciStartupCo, dating/engagement, climb Mt Whitney with the fiancee, marriage, left TinyLifeSciStartupCo for a MediumSemiCo spun from a BigTechCo, see wife's parents for first time, Kimchi Soup in my eye during a Seoul wine tasting (room temperature big dollar California red does NOT pair with Kimchi Soup ;-);-);-)

"Silicon is a very tough master. It operates to the laws of physics, there are no politics, you can't vote or will or committee your way around it. . . . Therefore the culture of Silicon Valley, where winning and losing is being technologically successful or not, is an objective, nonpolitical culture." --- T.J. Rodgers, CEO Cypress Semiconductor

I wonder how many blogs are born that quickly enter suspended animation or stasis. Having an online diary will quickly loose its appeal to many. Think of how many people enroll in Franklin-Covey classes, carry around their PDA or planner or hipster only to cease using it shortly there after. GTD guru Dave Allen had an expression for this that eludes more at the moment.
